Ocean Waves and Rescue Boats

"Just take one step."  I feel like I've been trying that for months.  For months I've known  the Lord was leading me to start coaching again.  But every time I get started preparing to launch the coaching programs, I hit an obstacle. It shouldn't surprise me, yet somehow it still catches me offguard.  

The webiste was almost ready.  God is giving me the green light with fresh vision.  I have a new business name that I feel encompasses my coaching programs.  Programs are almost ready to open for scheduling for new clients. But it has been one thing after another for myself, family, or friends.  I reached out to a dear friend and texted, "I feel like I’m in the ocean. But instead of enjoying the water I stand up and a wave knocks me down. I get up, gather my footing, and BAM another wave. I stand up then a big wave that take me under and takes my breath away."  It's exhausting.  Part of me wondered if timing wasn't right to start up again.  But that wasn't the Lord, that was the enemy, trying to distract me from God's purpose and plan for me.  

My good friend sent this response to that text, "Praying you will feel Him steering the ship as He brings u on top of the waves." This is exactly why we need Godly friends in our lives, to pray for us, love us, and encourage us.  

So, I jumped on that ship God is steering.  My rescue boat.

I prayed and got into God's Word. I went back to scripture the Lord has given me and took one step and created this blog!  One step closer to putting the "open" sign back up! 

Not today Satan.
